Born in St. Petersburg, pianist Yevgeny Sudbin began his musical studies at the age of five. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has since released a number of critically-acclaimed albums, including his Scriabin recording, which was awarded CD of the Year by The Telegraph and received the MIDEM Classical Award for Best Solo Instrument Recording at Cannes. In 2013, Mr. Sudbin received the Exceptional Young Talent award in the Instrumentalist category from the Critics’ Circle Music Awards, and in 2010 he was given a prestigious fellowship by the Royal Academy of Music, where he is now a visiting professor.
